Wood burnings
We still have some gorgeous woodburnings left on our site. They each have a picture hanger on the back so they may be hung on the wall or, if you prefer, you can set them up elegantly on plate holders.

The Men of Christmas
We have added two new aprons and a fleece scarf to my site. The first apron is depicts a lovely village of snowmen. The second is a combination of Santa and gingerbread men on an apron colored with the deeper reds and the lighter browns. Both aprons are backed with coordinating fabric as are the straps.
The scarf is a drawing of Santa's head on a backdrop of either light blue or dark blue. It is backed with a red fleece, giving it more body and warmth.
We have also received several convos regarding aprons for children. Watch for some holiday ones to be coming soon---perhaps as soon as this weekend. Also, we will be adding some holiday table runners and fireplace scarves soon. The holidays are rapidly approaching so we would advise shopping early. And don't forget our gift certificates for your shopping list!

Gift Certificates have arrived
We are very excited to announce that gift certificates are now available on our site. The preset denomination is $15, but you can convo us to order them in any amount you wish from $5 and up. The certificate then can be emailed, snail mailed, or sent as a pdf file to either you or the recipient. If you choose to send it to the recipient, we will enclose a thank you note from you. Or, if you wish, you may remain anonymous. Gift certificates are a great way to shop for that hard to shop for person---or persons!---on your list.
We would like to give a big hearty thanks to our sister site www.splazgraphicz.etsy.com for designing our gift certificate for us!

Breadclothes, Towels and a Pig
I have just added three new breadclothes, four dishtowels, and a jar topper to my site.
For everyday use, I have added breadclothes with mouth-watering treats on them. The first is stitched with apple pie, with colors so vivid you can almost smell it cooling. The second has three types of muffins, and the third is the word "cookies" stitched in the shape of different cookies. In addition, there is a dishtowel with a French chef, complete with his starched white uniform and a delectable treat on a plate.
For the holidays, I have added two new dishtowels. Santa urges us to "believe" on a full size dishtowel with red and white stripes, giving it that Christmas-y appearance. The other is a gang of snowmen standing hip to hip for what could be a portrait on a white dishtowel.
Finally, a pig has joined the list of jar toppers. He can be used for loose change, pre-wrapped towelettes, or anything else your imagination can come up with.
Join us at Crafting for Sanity to check out these new items as well as other wonderful wares!

More jar toppers
Mr. and Mrs. Snowman jar toppers have arrived. The snowman is wearing the typical top hat and scarf, with a mitten button securing the scarf and a snowman button with jiggly eyes adorning the hat. The snow woman is wearing a nightcap with a bow around her neck for warmth against the chilly winter night ahead.
I have filled both of these with sno-caps (non-pareils), but other ideas might include cotton balls or Q-tips. The possibilities are as endless as your own imagination.
Be sure to check them out!

Frosty the Snowman and School Daze Fabric Books
I have added two new fabric books to my etsy site. One is Frosty the Snowman with pictures from the original movie telling the story.
The second one is a book about school. The children in the book are drawn in such a way that makes the book comforting for an apprehensive child. It is perfect for anyone with a child getting ready to start pre-k or kindergarten.

Jar Toppers and a touch of Victorian Christmas
Two jar toppers have finally arrived to my etsy site. The first one is a cow guarding a jar full of miniature Milky Way bars. Another idea would be to use him as a "cash cow" to hold loose change.
Along with the cow is a reindeer getting ready for Christmas. In his jar is oatmeal which everyone knows is a favorite treat of Santa's team. My kids sprinkle it on the snow every year, and it disappears right after Santa stops.
In addition to the jar toppers, I have added a crocheted ornament with the feel of an old Victorian Christmas. Crocheted with crochet cotton and ribbon around a plastic ring, it is adorned with silk flowers and a gold ribbon hanger.

Snowmen and Gingerbread Men running amok
I have added a cute snowman fence and a beautiful--yet practical--gingerbread man breadcloth to my site.
The snowmen are painted onto a hangable fence. They are decked out in their winter finery (which those of us up here in the north will need all too soon!) complete with fleece hats, painted wooden mittens and boots.
The breadcloth is cross stitched on ivory aida cloth at two opposing corners with the word "joy" on either side of the gingerbread men. What makes this breadcloth even more appealing is the double backing of cotton coordinating fabric.
Check out both of these items and others at my site http://www.craftingforsanity.etsy.com/. And be on the lookout for jar toppers posted, hopefully, this weekend!
